Numismatics – paper money

The collection was created upon the establishment of the Museum in the year 1902. It came about through unsystematic, random collecting and gifts.

It consequently does not represent the complete stage of development. In terms of time period, the collectible items originate from the period of the 18th - 20th centuries.

The vast majority of the collectible items consist of money which was in circulation within the territories of Europe. Countries in Asia and America are represented sporadically.
